MACHINES (a mixtape)" is a 55minute collection of audio from 2019 - 2021 curated from social media performances, never heard before improvisational studio sessions, field recordings from my home & traveling, and samples excavated from dusty hard drives.

All pieces are fully improv with structure based on patching & sound experimentation - allowing the machines to tell me which way they want to go was the best, most natural way to steer each audio journey. Wanting to highlight a vastness of feeling and expression, MACHINES is a full journey through sensations of dark heaviness, hopeful playfulness, and intentional conversations between myself, my machines, and The Universe.

Excluding the sample interludes between tracks, every track on MACHINES is completely dawless using a Moog Mother 32 ecosystem (x2 M32, x1 DFAM), Elektron Digitakt, and Korg KP2 (FX). Recorded from a Mackie 12Ch mixer directly into a Zoom H4N. There has been no post editing or production, only light eq touch ups and a master chain.
